About Malak

Malak Atut is a healthcare executive, educator, and serial entrepreneur recognized for her powerful presence, strategic foresight, and ability to move both ideas and people into action. As Chief Operating Officer at CyberMed Health, Malak leads the strategic evolution of digital health platforms, overseeing teams across continents and driving innovation at the intersection of healthcare, AI, and equity. In recognition of her leadership and impact, she was named one of the Innovate100: Most Innovative Business Leaders in New Jersey in 2025.

A gifted communicator and storyteller, Malak serves as a Lecturer in Business Communications for Impact at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, where she also works MBA students as an Advising Entrepreneur. She is known for turning complexity into clarity. Whether guiding product strategy, coaching leadership teams, or engaging diverse stakeholders, she brings a blend of empathy, discipline, and systems-level thinking informed by her earlier work in finance and strategic sourcing at EY.

In her spare time, Malak enjoys crossword puzzles, design, and soccer. She lives in Morristown, NJ, with her husband, two teenage sons, and an ever-growing collection of virtual cats.

About Reima

Reima Shakeir is a multidisciplinary strategist, internationally recognized scholar, published author, and nonprofit executive. She brings clarity to complexity and breathes life into bold ideas at the intersection of communication, systems thinking, innovation, and narrative power.

Reima  joined the full-time faculty at NYU Stern School of Business. She previously served as Associate Director of the Wharton Communication Program at The Wharton School, where she taught MBA students, coached PhDs, and oversaw Wharton's Investor Pitch Day.

Beyond academia, Shakeir has led globally recognized initiatives:

  • Chief Operating Officer of the Edmond de Rothschild Foundations, where she ran their flagship fellowship at top business schools.

  • Chief Executive Officer of Women in Innovation, advancing equity and innovation leadership.

  • Advisor & Coach to senior executives and startups across tech, finance, health, and the arts.

Her career spans five countries and multiple sectors, always focused on building inclusive, cross-cultural systems and communities of belonging. She began in multilingual publishing at just 17, later selling her company to expand into strategy and consulting.
